FAQ

How do you make your jewellery?

All our jewellery is designed and made by us right here in our Gold Coast workshop. We use several methods of production, including hand forging in precious metals, hand carving in wax and lost wax casting. All pieces are assembled and finished by hand.

What metals do you work in?

We use newly-refined sterling silver and 9ct or 18ct white, rose or yellow gold. All our jewellery pieces consist of solid precious metals and we do not use base or scrap metals in any of our products (excluding rivets or springs in some of our leather pieces).

Can deVos rings be resized?

In most cases, our rings can be resized to a degree. However, with most pieces being very solid, resizing can be difficult and therefore costly, so we do recommend that you have the required finger size determined accurately by your local jeweller, so that resizing will not be required.

Do you take custom orders?

Should you wish for your deVos piece to be customized, just email us, giving as much detail as you can of the design you would like, your preferred metal and size of the piece and we will be in touch to discuss your order and forward a quote to you. Quotes for special orders are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote.

Will my deVos silver rings tarnish?

Silver naturally tarnishes. We do not coat or plate our silver rings, as these sorts of finishes do not last, and we don't believe that the natural beauty of silver should be hidden in any way. A regular rub with a good silver cloth will keep your rings looking great.

What finishes are applied to my deVos silver jewellery?

We apply an oxidization finish to enhance the fine details of the artwork. Over time this finish will wear giving added character to the piece.

How long will my order take?

Each deVos piece is made individually to your requirements. On a stock piece, processing will be up to 3 days plus delivery, which may take 1 week within Australia and 2 to 3 weeks Internationally depending on the Country of destination. On customised pieces and during busier times of the year, for example Christmas time, delivery may take longer.

How do I pay for my order?

All orders need to be paid in full in advance. You can pay for your goods using either Paypal, VISA or MasterCard via Shopify.

How much will the freight charges on my order be?

Freight charges within Australia and overseas are included in the price of our products. Please contact the Customs and Excise Office of the country of destination, to determine what duties, taxes or vat may apply to your parcel.

Will my parcel be insured?

Your purchases will be insured at our cost until they are signed for at their destination.
